Mary O'Leary

On June 4, 2018 Mary Catherine O'Leary was called home and peacefully slept right into eternity.

Mary was born to James Fleming and Catherine Conroy on October 10, 1934 in Chicago, IL and was the eldest of their three beautiful daughters.

Mary had a lot of difficult struggles and hardships and definitely more than most people would believe but she always kept an optimistic attitude and somehow, some way, would always make it through and still have enough in her to be kind to all of those around her. She had many regrets but tried hard to do what she could for anything she could try and fix.

She was a people person that truly enjoyed visiting with friends & family and really liked making new friends no matter where she was! It could be on the bus, in the stores, at church or anywhere else she found herself where there were other people around!

She was like a mom to many of her daughter's friends due to her sweet, non-judgmental attitude and her willingness to listen and welcome them in hard times in their lives. This was the same with her friends too! Even after very tragic events happened to her or when we didn't have any money or food, she would always have hope and would tell me often, "We'll get through this somehow because God always takes care of us some way." This I found to be true and have used it plenty of times since! She didn't even realize how much she truly 'walked by faith and not by sight'!

She was a bright, beautiful and friendly spirit inside and out on earth and I definitely know she is even more so now in her heavenly home! We miss her terribly and it has left such a void in our lives but we are comforted that she is dancing and frolicking with no pain and suffering anymore and that she loved all of us tremendously!
