Jacque Rodge

March 24, 1956 — July 29, 2018

South Austin Location

Jacque Jo Rodge, Passed suddenly in her home in Rosanky, Texas on Sunday, July 29, at 10:20 pm. She was known as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Jacque was most known for her infectious smile, laugh and kindness to everyone she touched. Mom would not want a funeral, so I “David” think this would have made her happy and gets everyone informed. Thank you very much for all the love and care to Dad “Gary” and me.

She was born in Washington, D.C. on March 24, 1956, to Franklin David Hall, and the late Luray Hall. She attended college in El Paso and San Marcos, Texas, and was active as a substitute school teacher, Campfire leader and had showing dogs. She was an avid animal lover, especially when it came to her horses, cows, cats and show dogs – and was always driven to make the most of every day with her family and friends. Jacque also enjoyed sightseeing and traveling with her husband and son, David.

Jacque is survived by her husband of 43 years, Gary Rodge; her son David Rodge; her daughter Autumn Rodge; her daughter Laura Richardson and her husband Mike; and Jacque’s four brothers, Glen Hall, Terry Hall, Charles Hall and Franklin Hall. She was blessed with two wonderful grandchildren – Katelyn Richardson and Halie Richardson.

As a tribute and in lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the following non-profit organizations: Bluebonnet Equine Society or Austin Pets Alive, or direct donations to cover the costs of cremation and transportation to Montana to carry out her last wishes to: Gary or David Rodge, P.O. Box 64, Rosanky, Texas 78953.
