Modesta Ramos

Modesta Valles Ramos was born in D’Hanis, Texas on March 28, 1933. She is preceded in death by her parents Domingo Valles and Jesusita Gonzales, her beloved husband Domingo Ramos and her siblings; Catarina Bustos, Domingo Valles Jr., Fidelia Barron, Francisca Perez, Inez Valles, her children; Amelia Arias and Alejandro Ramos, her grandson Bonifacio Ramos Jr. and her great grandson Frank Ramos Jr.

Modesta and Domingo Ramos has been together since 1950 until his passing on August 2, 2004. They shared special memories in which they had 9 children, 42 grandchildren, 133 great grandchildren and 28 great-great grandchildren.

Modest was a longtime member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She also attended Conley-Guerrero Senior Activity Center for 15 years where she held the title from 2000-2003 as Queen of the Sweetheart Ball.

Her hobbies included playing bingo, cooking her fresh, hot flour tortillas, crossword puzzles, embroidery, sewing and listening to her Spanish music.

She leaves behind wonderful memories of her life to Bonifacio Ramos, Gloria Ramos, Mary Alvarez, Peggy Ramos, Reynaldo Ramos, Roberto Ramos, Santos De Leon, and her adoptive children; Adalaida Hernandez, Adela Guerrero, Mary Helen Hernandez, her sisters; Benita Quintanilla, Julia Valles, Rosemary Valles, her brothers; Pedro Valles, Ray Valles, and Tony Valles along with many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Arrangements and Services will be at All Faiths Funeral Home at 8507 N IH-35 Austin, Texas 78753. Beginning with a visitation  held Saturday, October 27, 2018 fromm 4-6 PM followed by a Rosary at 6 PM.

A reception  will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 after 12 PM at Dove Springs Recreation Center 5801 Ainez Drive Austin, Texas 78744
