Ross Liberto Jr.

Ross Peter Liberto Jr., age 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at his home in Smithville, Texas. A native of Macon, GA, Mr. Liberto had lived in Albany, GA, most of his life and was a paint contractor for many years.

Survivors include his wife Angela Broadaway Liberto, Smithville, and 3 daughters. Angelica Worley Nelson, Blairsville, GA, Angela Rector, Albany, GA, Katherine Rector, Albany, GA. Ross is also survived by 2 stepdaughters Selena Atkinson, Panama City, FL, and Brittany Pearce, Blairsville, GA. Ross is also survived by 4 sons, John Liberto, Smithville, TX, Dennis Liberto, Blairsville, GA, David Liberto, Poulan, GA, Christopher Liberto. Upton, GA. He is also a grandfather to multiple grandchildren. Ross is also survived by a sister, Mary Jones, Ossineke,MI. Ross is also survived by a nephew. Matt Jones, of Tilton,Illinois.

Ross’ wishes were to be cremated and scattered in the North Georgia Mountains. Everyone that knew him said he was always making jokes, painting, cooking, and spending time with his family. A celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.
